Bapcatt takes Bapcave to a sold-out NB Coimbra.

Last Thursday, Coimbra welcomed another special night for national culture. NB Coimbra, a true institution in the city, hosted the second edition of Bapcave Live, following the success of its first edition at Maus Hábitos in Porto.

This time, the night carried an even more personal meaning, as Bapcattt brought Bapcave to his hometown, bringing together some of the names shaping Portugal’s new generation of artists.

And the lineup was nothing short of special. Xtinto, YVNG Vicy, SleepythePrince, Ícaro, Champ 3045, VSP AST, Cadu, Espama Trincana and SP Rocha took to an improvised stage, bringing to life some of the tracks created at Andamento’s studio in a live performance that will undoubtedly remain a memorable moment for the scene.

Bapcave is a project that has been gaining more and more recognition, offering a laid-back and unfiltered way of showing the public the creative process behind the music while bringing them closer to the artists themselves. Rather than simply showcasing the final product, Bapcatt opens the doors to the studio and gives people a glimpse into what happens behind the scenes.

It’s this sense of proximity that makes every Bapcave special - a chance to experience some of our favourite artists in a more intimate, spontaneous and personal setting.

Now, all that’s left is to find out where the next one will be.
