Joana Vasconcelos adds color to new 3x3 basketball court in Lisbon.

On the eve of christmas day, basketball fans got a present. A joint partnership between Hoopers and plastic artist Joana Vasconcelos resulted in the renovation of a 3x3 basketball court, this time at Doca Santo Amaro in Lisbon.

Inspired by the dynamics and movements of basketball, the revitalized court is embellished by the colourful art of Joana Vasconcelos.

Another successful project by Hoopers, which in 2024 reached the milestone of 14 rehabilitations of basketball courts between Portugal, Spain and Brazil, with 10 of them involving partnerships with 10 artists.
