Richie Campbell shut down Electric Brixton in a memorable sold-out show.
Yesterday was a historic day for portuguese culture. Richie Campbell flew to London for a completely sold-out show. At the iconic Electric Brixton, the portuguese artist took the stage to deliver a set packed with bangers, once again proving why he’s one of the biggest names in national music. From “Blame It On Me” , “Slowly” to “Sweet Like Sugar”, Richie Campbell took the crowd on a journey through the different moments of his career.
In addition to the concert, he also made an appearance at “Lisboa Patisserie” in London the day before the show, where he hosted an exclusive pop-up. Fans got the chance to grab limited-edition merch - including a scarf, a t-shirt, and a football jersey - designed by Gonçalo Afonso and all featuring the iconic Bridgetown branding.
Some familiar names such as Van Zee and FRANKIEONTHEGUITAR were also in attendance to watch Richie Campbell live, making the night even more meaningful. For this new generation of artists, being able to witness such a memorable moment for portuguese culture was truly special. The Bridgetown founder stands as one of the true OG’s in the game - a pioneer whose influence continues to shape and inspire the artists now carrying the torch forward. The show was not only a celebration of his legacy, but also a reminder of how far portuguese music has come, and how bright its future looks.
