Bapcatt’s Bapcave Sessions are taking over the underground sound.
Bapcatt is one of the biggest names in the Portuguese underground scene, and he’s been around for a while. Back in the golden era of trap, he was already making waves and contributing to some of the biggest hits of the time. Who remembers PNG? Drugdealer, Anjo Caído, and Fashion Week were all hits produced by Bapcatt.
After some time away from producing for other artists, the Coimbra-born producer developed a revolutionary concept in the scene. Inspired by Kenny Beats, Bapcatt created the Bapcave Sessions. Released on his YouTube channel, these sessions feature artists creating music from scratch in real time in the studio - both the instrumentals and the songs are made on the spot which is crazy.
Names like VSP AST, YUNGVICY, Joint One, or Tiago Mob have already featured, making this content fresh and innovative compared to what we were used to. It’s like being right there in the studio with them, discovering sides of the artists that would otherwise remain hidden.
We need to mention Tiago Silva too. He plays a crucial role in the Bapcave Sessions - he’s the one responsible for filming and producing the videos, capturing the energy and vision of each session, and bringing it directly to the audience.
Now, we’ll have the chance to hear the bangers created in the Bapcave Sessions live at Maus Hábitos, tomorrow in Porto. A true gathering of the culture, where the heavyweights of the underground won’t be missing.
